NBA Digest (08.02.2013)

Thunder won 30 of the 32 games this season where they passed 100 points. If you wanna beat Thunder than keep them below 100 points. Else you have 6% chance to win. Thunder leads NBA with 105,7 points per gaöe so far. (01.02.2013)

Magic lost against 76ers in Philadelphia last night with 78-61. So they got their 10th consecutive loss. They had two times 10-games losing streak in the last two months. Magic could score at least a 3-point in the last 457 games (since 17th March 2007) till this game. In this game Magic couldn't score any 3-points. So their 457 games 3-point streak ended. Magic came to an end. Both psychological and technical. (04.02.2013)

Houston Rockets' 3-point percentage was 78% (14/18) against Warriors during the 1st half. This was an AMAZING performance! If you play with such a percentage you can beat any team on the world. Rockets finished the game with 23 3-points (23/40). This is a tie of the NBA 3-points made record. A superb performance! As it can be easily guessed Rockets won the game with 140-109 (05.02.2013)

Thunder beat Warriors at home quite easily with 119-98. The field goal percentage of Thınder was 50,5% after the game. There arose an interesting statistic about Thunder: Thunder won 17 of 17 games this season when their field goal percentage was more than 50% (06.02.2013)

Now Spurs' winning streak turn in West. Spurs won the game in Minnessota last night with 104-94. So they got their 11th consecutive win. Although Duncan and Gninobili couldn't play. Coach Gregg Popovich knows how to mount younger players to the team. Popovich is a very talented coach. Coach is good, team is good. And the result is success. 4 championships with Spurs is a clear sign of this success. (06.02.2013)

Our national player Ömer Aşık of Rockets made 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the match against Thunder. This was his 21st double-doubles of the season. He is 11th in double-doubles in NBA. (Also LeBron James has 21 double-doubles.) (06.02.2013)

Our two national basketball players faced each other last night between Bucks and Jazz. Jazz beat Bucks with 100-84 in Utah. Enes Kanter of Jazz played 17 minutes and made 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Also he blocked 5 shots. Now we say him: "Hey dude! Where have you been so far? You need 50 games to warm up?" I hope that this match will be a milestone for Enes. Ersan of Bucks played with 17 points last night. Ersan played with 18,7 points per game in the last 10 games. Ersan plays very well nowadays. It seemd that our national players need at least 40 games to warm up. (06.02.2013)

Magic's losing streak continues. They lost last night at home 86-76 against Clippers who also have tough days because of injuries. This was their 11th consecutive loss. It also was 22nd loss in their last 24 games. Quite awful. Nowadays Magic's catastrophe turn in East. There are 6 injured players in Magic. And five of them are starters. It seems that these starters probably will begin to play next week. Maybe they can slow down this upside-down fall a bit. (06.02.2013)
